Tonight, I was given the opportunity to tell a story about my days in professional wrestling as part of the 13th Annual trueFRINGE show on the Know Theatre mainstage. It was thrilling to share the spotlight with other talented artists C. Aiden Sims, Ingrid Garner, and Bruce Ryan Costella. David Levy, who helms trueTHEATRE does such a wonderful job organizing these events, finding talented storytellers, and producing quality shows that help to breed empathy as we learn about one another.
I really enjoyed myself, and people were extremely kind about my story.
Fringe is winding down; there’s just one more day of regular programming, and then there’ll be a round of Encores on Saturday featuring “Songs Without Words,” which is my favorite show this year, as well as “The Last Witch in Ireland” and “1 Man, No Show,” both of which are getting great reviews.
Of course, at the night's end on Saturday, we’ll find out who wins the Fringe Awards, which is exciting and especially helps those shows that travel to other festivals to market and get traction.
